Digital Marketing and Content Specialist

Position Description

 

Role Title: Digital Marketing & Content Specialist
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer, CFA Societies Australia
FTE: Full time (1.0)
Location: Melbourne or Sydney – working from home

 

Digital Marketing & Content Specialist

The Digital Marketing and Content Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding CFA Societies Australia brand and voice on digital channels to appeal to our key audience of CFA candidates, members and employers.

Your compelling copy and graphics will elevate and promote awareness, recognition and take-up of the prestigious CFA Charterholder designation and promote the activities, advocacy and thought leadership of CFA Societies Australia and the CFA Institute in Australia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create quality content and visual assets for distribution across multiple digital channels, including emails, social and website.
  • Build eDMs and online newsletters, to communicate effectively with target audiences. Continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of email communications.
  • Manage the IA/UX and content of the cfas.org.au website, focusing on ensuring the website functions as an effective marketing tool for CFA Societies and CFA Institute and supports key strategies including recruitment, member value (events, careers centre, resources), and advocacy objectives.
  • Organic social media channel management and audience engagement, and paid social media campaign development, execution and evaluation. Provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers engaged in social media activity.
  • Own the end-to-end development and implementation of national led programs and campaigns.
    Lead and manage reporting including campaign insights, trends and analytics to drive continuous improvement across all channels.
  • Other tasks and projects as directed by the CEO.

 

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, business, or related field.
  • Experience in financial services is a plus, along with experience gained in professional membership organisations.
  • Experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience creating high quality content for different audiences across different channels.
  • Tech savyy with hands on experience working within different digital communications platforms including WordPress, Marketing Cloud, Survey Monkey, Cvent and social media platforms.
  • Results focused, self-motivated and a self-starter with excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Enjoys working autonomously, as well as be part of a small team.
