The 2024 Finance & Investment Career Event provided university students in Brisbane with a chance to connect with top employers, gain valuable real-world insights into the investment industry and learn how to stand out among the crowd of candidates.

Held on October 10, it was a fantastic day of networking, learning, and exploring opportunities in the finance industry. Two insightful panel sessions were held on Career Paths and Career Tips, and we’re incredibly grateful to our wonderful panelists for sharing their advice and experiences.

The final for Queensland Chapter of competition of the CFA Institute Research Challenge was also held on the day, with the team from Griffith University taking it out with an insightful investment analysis on ALS Limited (ASX:ALQ).
