CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing Scholarship
with Financial Advice Association Australia

CFA Societies Australia is proud to partner with the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) to offer a Scholarship Program for women to strengthen their skillset and deepen links to the investment industry through the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing.

The CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing Scholarship aims to support women to take the next step in their professional education and master both practical application and technical knowledge in the fast-growing field of ESG investing.

We hope the Scholarship will help ease the financial burden of course enrolment and encourage female participation.

CFA Societies Australia, in conjunction with the FAAA, and as part of their continued commitment to excellence with support from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women, wish to provide meaningful equity opportunities for professionals wishing to further their expertise as a Chartered Financial Analyst®.

 

The Scholarship is open to all women meeting the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must identify as female.
  • Must commence the program before 31 December 2023.
  • Must be able to demonstrate financial need, including but not limited to proof of receiving means-tested allowances from Centrelink, and/or proof of financial stress more broadly (e.g. childcare fees; living expenses, etc,).
  • Must be intending to upskill or refresh skills in finance and economics to help enter, re-enter, and achieve leadership roles in the financial services industry.
  • It is recommended that candidates have knowledge and grounding in the investment process.

 

The Scholarship covers student’s tuition fees via CFA Societies Australia and successful applicants must commence the the CFA Institute Certificate of ESG Investing before 31 December 2023.

Please note the four steps below before commencing the application process.

Step 1. Register an account with FAAA Scholarships, Grants and Sponsorships.

Step 2. Start application.

Select Women in Finance and Economics Scholarship

Select CFA Certificate in ESG Investing 2023 Scholarship

Input your name

Step 3. Confirm you have met eligibility criteria by ticking the box and select ‘Save + next’.

Step 4. Application. There are three sections to complete:

      • Applicant Information: Input your full name, address and contact details.
      • Eligibility: Input your gender, age and answer short questions on eligibility.
      • Application Statement: Share how this scholarship will equip you to overcome challenges based on any disadvantages and how this scholarship will assist you in meeting your career objectives.

You will be notified of the outcome of your Scholarship submission by the FAAA within 14 days of your application.

 

Successful applicants must commence the CFA Institute Certificate of ESG Investing before 31 December 2023. Successful applicants will receive enrolment details from CFA Societies Australia.
