Thank you for speaking at the Australian Investment Conference 2026 (the “Conference”), to be held on 29 October 2026 at the Park Hyatt, Melbourne.
To extend the value of the Conference beyond the event day, CFA Society Australia, together with CFA Institute, intends to record selected Conference content and use it for professional education, member engagement and promotional purposes as described below.
Please read this form before completing it. Your participation as a speaker is not conditional on your consent to the activities below.
Accredited media may attend the conference. If present, they may independently report on conference proceedings in accordance with their own editorial policies.
Panel sessions
Where a session involves multiple speakers (for example, a panel discussion), the recording will generally only be published in a form that fairly represents the discussion as a whole. If one or more panellists do not consent to recording, CFA Society Australia may still record the session for internal purposes and reserves the right to edit the recording, including removing a non-consenting panellist’s contribution, before any publication or other public use.
For each activity you approve in Section 1, you grant CFA Society Australia and CFA Institute (together, “CFA”) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license, for the duration of the applicable copyright, to record, reproduce, edit, adapt, distribute, publish, broadcast and otherwise use and make available the relevant recording and your name, voice, image, likeness and biographical information as they appear in it (your “Recorded Content”), in any media now known or later developed, including CFA websites, member portals, digital learning platforms, social media and other CFA-owned or affiliated channels, for professional education, member engagement and promotional purposes.
This license does not expire after a fixed number of years. It continues for the duration of the applicable copyright, subject to your right to withdraw consent under Section 6.
This license includes the right for CFA to create and publish derivative content from your Recorded Content, such as edited video clips, transcripts, written summaries, articles, newsletter content and social media content, and to edit, crop or otherwise modify your Recorded Content at CFA’s reasonable discretion, provided that such use is not defamatory, misleading or derogatory, and does not create the impression that you or your organisation endorses CFA or any Conference sponsor beyond your participation as a Conference speaker.
CFA is under no obligation to use, publish or continue using your Recorded Content, and may in its discretion decide not to publish, or to cease using, any Recorded Content.
You retain ownership of your presentation slides and any other presentation materials you provide (your “Materials”). By ticking the box below, you grant CFA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to distribute standalone copies of those Materials to registered Conference delegates. Separately, where you have also consented to publication of your session recording, CFA may include your Materials as displayed during your presentation within the published recording and related content.
You confirm that you own or have all necessary rights and permissions to use and to grant the above license in your Materials, and that your Materials do not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify CFA Society Australia and CFA Institute against third-party claims, losses or reasonable costs arising directly from a breach of the confirmations above. This indemnity does not apply to claims caused by unauthorised editing or use outside the permissions granted in this form.
You release CFA, and their respective officers, employees and agents, from any claims and actions arising from CFA’s use of your Recorded Content and Materials in accordance with the permissions you have selected in this form.
For highly technical presentations, CFA Society Australia may provide draft summaries or key takeaways to you for a factual accuracy review before publication. This review is limited to factual accuracy and does not give you a right of prior approval over CFA’s editorial choices or its use of your Recorded Content.
You may withdraw your consent at any time before the Conference, or before an item of Recorded Content or Materials is first published, by notifying CFA Society Australia in writing. Once content has been published, CFA Society Australia and CFA Institute will make reasonable efforts to cease future use, but cannot guarantee removal from previously distributed publications, downloads or third-party platforms.
