Our vision is to become the global centre of excellence in natural resources finance.

We are proud of Western Australia’s leadership in the natural resources sector. The natural resources sector is the foundation of Perth’s financial system and the CFA Society Perth is the peak financial services society for financial leaders in the natural resource sector.

 

 

 

Our goals

Member Value

Around 70% of our members working within the natural resources sector so a vision aligned with the major sector of employment in WA will enhance member value and retention.

2.

Job Creation

Perth will be recognised as hosting a leading finance talent pool in the natural resources sector. In promoting our vision, we will encourage the creation of new jobs in Perth.

3.

Revenue Opportunities

New corporate sponsorship opportunities will be created to promote our events in the natural resources sector.

4.

Increase Member Base

Grow membership through focused employer and university outreach programs.

CFA Society Perth launched the Natural Resources Vision at Frasers in Kings Park on 17th November 2020. The evening was opened by the Hon. Bill Johnson, Western Australia’s Minister for Mines and Petroleum, Energy and Industrial Relations and featured keynote speaker, Sherry Duhe, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Woodside.
