Overview

The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation is recognised as the highest distinction in the investment management profession.  Those who have the CFA designation, having successfully completed the CFA® Program, are known as charterholders.  People studying towards the CFA Program are known as candidates.

CFA Society New Zealand is an association of local investment professionals, including portfolio managers, security analysts, investment advisers, and other financial professionals.  Our members include charterholders, candidates and associate members.

We:

  • Promote ethical and professional standards within the investment industry
  • Encourage professional development through the CFA Program and continuing education
  • Facilitate the exchange of information and opinions among people within the local investment community and beyond
  • Work to further the public’s understanding of the CFA designation and investment industry

As a CFA Institute Society, we connect members to a global network of investment professionals.
