The COVID-19 pandemic will have long-lasting effects on the rapidly developing ESG market and is already illustrating the financial materiality of ESG. Particularly in the inset of the crisis, ESG indices have been outperforming their non-ESG parent indices. The majority of this out-performance is driven by under- and over weighting sectors directly impacted by or in the front line of combating the pandemic. Recent and expected macro trends pose clear risks for the ESG investment universe, e.g. carbon emissions and clean energy investments.

A positive trend is increased scrutiny with regard to social aspects in ESG investing which hitherto have often been overshadowed by climate risk integration.

Join us for this webinar with Sebastian and Andrew to hear their views followed by a Q&A at the end.
