Opportunities and Risks in Trade Finance

Trade finance underpins approximately 80% of global trade but regulatory changes have caused banks to withdraw from trade finance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).  This has created a structural funding shortage and opportunities for non-bank lenders to step in. Trade finance provides a compelling investment proposition being uncorrelated to financial markets with predictable returns, low volatility and low default risk.

During this presentation Kimura Capital will outline the opportunities and risks presented by trade finance.
