CFAS want members to fulfil their Continuing Education (CE) credits, to expand their knowledge base and stay updated with latest market developments and current research. CFAS have tailored their program to just do that and will be offering live and online events. Each series has been designed to target specific groups and provide an education experience that adds value to each unique membership group. We are anticipating this format will make it easier to select events you will have more interest in and these events will attract a mix of local and international speakers of high profile and high quality. Our social events will still occur for all to attend throughout the year and are a great way to network with many members of our local society.
Note that you have reciprocal rights with other societies within Australia so when visiting other states feel free to attend their event for the visitor price.
To fulfil the annual CFA Institute CE requirements, members are required to attain two hours of ethics development. In 2013/14 CFAS will offer members an opportunity to achieve the two hours ethics CE credits through an (i) ethics panel session and (ii) ethics workshop covering a refresher of the CFA Institute Standards of Practice and Professional Conduct.
